Harbour View (previously ‘Mills café’) is the oldest traditional fish & chips restaurant in Whitby, established since 1928.
Although the name has recently changed the traditional methods which we use to produce our delicious fish & chips has not. All dishes, desserts and sauces are homemade on the premises daily using only the finest ingredients.
Situated beside Whitby’s historical harbour we endeavour to provide our customers with a charming experience along with tasty, fresh seafood Whitby has become famous for. Our menu offers all of the ‘chip shop’ favourites battered in our own delicious light, crispy batter.
For those wanting a tasty alternative we have a ‘Mouth Watering’ menu including options such as Mixed Seafood Chilli Risotto, Luxury Fish Pie, Delicious Steak Pie, Pan Fried Sea Bass with Sizzled Ginger and Spring Onion.
We are very Child friendly. The Children’s menu is all homemade using no artificial ingredients.
Fully licenced, open 7 days a week our menus are complimented by carefully selected wines, ice cold draught beers and award winning Yorkshire ales not to mention delicious ‘Yorkshire Tea’.
